
The chemical industry in India has been growing at 10% every year, with a market size of USD 30 billion. Witnessing this growing trend, Chemtech Foundation, India's leading industry association and organiser of international exhibitions and conferences since 1975, has been organizing the Chemtech series of events. Chemtech World Expo 2009, the 24th in the series will be hosted at BEC, NEC Complex, Goregaon (E), Mumbai, India from February 12-16, 2009.The event will have on display the complete range of products, state-of-the-art technologies, equipment, accessories and services related to the chemical and allied industries. The event will be held in conjunction with Pharma World Expo 2009. The other concurrent shows at the same venue include Industry Automation World Expo 2009 & Waterex World Expo 2009.

The 2007 edition of Chemtech World Expo witnessed participation from 21 countries across the world. 500 delegates, 20 overseas speakers and 65 national speakers took part in the conferences. With 1100 exhibitors including 394 overseas exhibitors and more than 40,000 visitors, the fair proved to be a big success.
