About the Event

If you are from the mining and machinery industry, International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME 2008) is your ultimate platform to create or further expand your business base globally. The event is being organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Mines (Government of India) and Coal India Limited. The 9th edition of the series is scheduled to be held from 5th to 8th November 2008 at Salt Lake Stadium Grounds, Kolkata, India.

All preceding editions of IMME witnessed immense response. IMME 2008 is targeting to break the previous records with more exhibitor and visitor participation. More than 300 participants from 15 countries will be a part of the event.

Partner Country - GERMANY

Germany will be the Partner Country at IMME 2008. The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the Mining Equipment Association within VDMA, the German Engineering Federation, will showcase the largest ever display of the latest German products.

Focus Country - AUSTRALIA

Australia will be the Focus Country at the gala IMME 2008. Leading companies from this continent will display latest Australian Technologies and Services in India for the Mining Sector.
