Diamond & CBN mounted points are applicable for small diameter machining and high speed grinding. Diamonds are deposited in every possible shape. These offer a wide range of application such as internal grinding of carbide dies/wear parts. These enable faster stock removal, and generate more production. These avoid coolant, dressing and make it easy for making complicated forms.
Applications :
BOT Diamond mounted points are used for jig, internal grinding and precision grinding of small holes in carbide, ceramics, sapphire, glass and other non metallics.
Speed :
Recommended speed is between 28 to 30 m/sec. Excellent results is obtainable at speed 45,000 - 60,000 RPM
Feed :
Suggested feeds for jig or internal grinding are from 0.0002" to 0.0004" per pass
Coolant :
Coolant is used wherever possible.
Useful Grinding Hints
Keep tool over hang as short as possible. One half of the grinding point should stay in contact at the end of the stroke.

Diamond files are available in different shapes and used for machining carbide or hardened steel moulds. Grit size is recommended according to the required surface finish.
Electroplated diamond files are all-purpose tools suitable for the mould and die instrument, gauge and tool-making industries. These offer faster and economical stock removal on both hardened and tough unhardened steels and o
Diamond & CBN wheels of premium quality are manufactured, and available in resin, metal vitrified bonds and electro metallic bonds.
Resin & Metal Bond Wheels :
Resin & metal bond wheels are used for grinding carbides, glass, ceramics, ferrites and other hard and abrasive materials. These are available in diameters ranging from 3.0 mm to 600 mm. The bond type, grit size and concentration are ch
These dressers replace large single points. The clusters consist of 5. 7. 9. 12 small diamonds set in a variety of patterns for dressing larger or coarser and harder wheels. Since more than one diamond comes in contact with the wheel, the workload is divided. The smaller diamonds are less expensive per carat than large stones, hence cluster tools result in important savings
Multipoint Indexable
Blade type diamond dressers are specially suggested for angular and centreless grinders. These are available with swiveling holder or with diamond abrasive plate brazed in a shank.
Advantages :
* Whole non-crushed natural grains very uniformly disposed in a special pattern
* Hand-set for confirming to very close tolerances on the work piece more particularly for truing and forming of profiles
