The chemical resistance of polypropylene is good when exposed to some diluted acids and alkalies, satisfactory with oils and, at normal temperatures, good with various organics such as alcohols, ketones, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons 2. GRN-Glass Reinforced Nylon 66 These blades have greater strength and higher temperature capability (40 degree C to 150 degree C) of non radiant heat. Higher speeds are acceptable for impellers fitted with GRN blades 3. Aluminum LM6 blades are proven for use in emergency smoke and fume extraction applications up to 400 degree C.
