The Turbo Conveyor solid face pulley utilizes a single-piece rolled plate rim, continuously welded end-discs and extra strength intermediate discs, as required. Crown face pulleys are standard for diameters twelve inches and greater and are recommended for most applications. The Crown* is produced with special forming rolls assuring crown accuracy and rim contour. The crown design helps maintain belt alignment which is an important factor in belt life and operating efficiency of the conveyor system. Straight face pulleys are supplied for high-tension applications and for all tandom drives. *Crown is defined as the amount (expressed in inches) per foot of total face width by which the diameter at the center exceeds the edge diameter. Turbo pulleys are crowned 1/16" to 1/8" on the diameter per foot of total face width. Crown face standard straight face available upon request. Hubs welded inside and outside of end-disc to ensure strength and increase life. Turbo pulleys meet all ISI / CEMA / ANSI / JIS specifications. Mine duty pulleys constructed for rougher applications.
