PVC PLASTISOLS - Mold Release Type Adhesive

Chemfil produces a range of PVC based adhesives which demonstrate high mechanical and dielectric strengths, and high temperature chemical and thermal shock resistance. It is a high strength adhesive providing excellent adhesion base to the Filter paper . It is an effective replacement of the metal end cap used in Filters. It may also be used as a substitute for Polyurethane Adhesives . It is chiefly used in air filter applications.

USAGE

Apply a little silicon spray or mustard oil ( mould release agent )on the dye at first The Adhesive is applied evenly on the metal dye on fixed specifications and Filter paper is put on it for polymerisation at 180 degree of hotness for 10 minutes on the hot plate. The surface should be held in position by contact pressure. It does not require any metal base plate. It lacks bonding content and serves as a hard base for the Filter paper. The dye is then cooled and the Filter is ploughed out with Plastisol as its base instead of a metal cap.
